AIMyVET Project Meeting in Lublin
Project: AI Strategies for VET Schools (2025-1-NO01-KA220-VET-000356594)
Dates: 6th –7th of May 2026
Location: Lublin, Poland
Introduction
This week, project partners met in Lublin, Poland, for the second face-to-face meeting of the Erasmus+ project AI Strategies for VET Schools, hosted by WSEI University.
The project brings together a diverse partnership, including universities from Lublin and Athens, vocational upper secondary schools from Fredrikstad and Athens, and the Regional Directorate for Education from Madeira. Together, the partners are working to explore and strengthen the strategic use of artificial intelligence in vocational education and training (VET).
Over two productive days, the meeting focused on advancing key project outputs, strengthening collaboration, and aligning shared goals across institutions and countries. The discussions and activities contributed to building a common understanding of how AI can be meaningfully integrated into VET education.
Day 1 – Project Development and Collaboration
The meeting opened with welcoming remarks from WSEI University and Glemmen Upper Secondary School, followed by an overview of the meeting objectives and project timeline. Partners also discussed upcoming milestones and the timing of the next project meeting.
The first working sessions focused on Work Package 2 (WP2), where partners reviewed progress on curriculum development, including training modules and a handbook for educators. This session provided valuable insights and ensured alignment across the partnership.
Discussions then moved to Work Package 3 (WP3), which focuses on educator training and student empowerment. Partners exchanged perspectives on how to best support both teachers and students in adapting to new technologies.
In the afternoon, attention turned to Work Package 4 (WP4), where partners explored the development of an interactive AI integration benchmarking tool designed to support schools in implementing AI effectively.
The day concluded with a social dinner, offering an opportunity to continue discussions in an informal setting and further strengthen collaboration among partners.
Day 2 – Management and Dissemination
The second day began with a recap of the previous day’s discussions, allowing partners to clarify key points and summarise conclusions.
This was followed by a project management session, focusing on coordination, responsibilities, and overall progress. Effective collaboration and communication remain central to achieving the project’s goals.
Partners then worked on Work Package 5 (WP5), which focuses on dissemination. Discussions highlighted the importance of ensuring that project results reach educators, institutions, and other relevant stakeholders to maximise impact.
The meeting concluded with final reflections, questions, and agreement on next steps, marking an important milestone in the project’s development.
Looking Ahead
The meeting in Lublin marked an important step forward for the AIMyVET project. Through workshops, presentations, and discussions, partners strengthened collaboration and clarified the next phases of their work.
The partnership now continues its work on developing tools, resources, and strategies that support the meaningful integration of AI in vocational education and training.
We look forward to the next project meeting and to continuing this valuable collaboration.
